June 8th, 2023

Today in math, we had our perimeter or area quiz! Students generally did very well!

In social studies, we are working on wrapping up the last chapter of our unit! Students began making pictograph stories using only symbols. In social studies, we learned about oral story telling and how knowledge was passed down from generation to generation through pictograph stories. Next week, students will begin transferring their stories on to a paper tipi.

In science, we watched a science video about simple machines and played a finished a Jeopardy review game for our unit test on MONDAY.

In the afternoon, students worked on two Mathletics tasks! We also spent some time outside in the sunshine with our grade 1 buddies in Ms. Melbourn's class!
