Happy Monday! The students did such a great job of listening and following directions today and I am vry proud of them! We are to the point in the year where that is no easy feat!
For morning work today, we completed a word puzzle. Take a look at the photo below.
We did our sharing circle and then did an esti-mystery.
We worked through some portions of our memory books and then played math games.
After lunch, we coloured our directed drawings from last week of a tree house. Students who were done early did some small classroom jobs such as testing markers and sorting cards.
We started on our scrapbook page for Mr. Miller's farewell book called "You are the key to our school". Take a look at the photo.
We will be having an end-of-year class party on Wednesday afternoon. Students are invited to bring a board game, a toy and/or a special treat for themselves for this special occasion. We discussed what types of toys should and should not be brought to school. If students would like to bring goodies for everyone, they should be something non-edible such as a pencil or eraser.
