We had a very active day of learning today. We were not able to go outside at recess or lunch due to the heavy rain. Students did a great job of remaining calm indoors.
We began our day with an estimystery where students used a variety of their multiplication skills to eliminate possible answers.
In math, we had the computers and completed a telling time activity on Google Classroom. After recess, we completed a Magic Square time puzzle. Ask your child about this. It required lots of teamwork, perseverance, and respect for our peers. See photos below.
In social studies, we turned our teepee templates into 3D teepees and did some more decorating. Your child should have brought these home today.
Father's Day cards and gifts came home in backpacks today. Please keep your eye out for these!
Grade 4 students brought home a form yesterday for their upcoming health unit. Please only sign and return this form if you DO NOT want your child participating in this unit. If they are participating, please keep the form at home.
