Today in math, students reviewed some strategies to use for division and focused hard on mastering their skills! In the next few days, the grade 4 students will have a quiz on multiplication and division as they will be moving on to double digit multiplication and division. It is so important that students in both grades are practicing their facts and getting fast with them as these are the foundations for other topics in math!

In literacy, we read more chapters of Wild Robot and the students wrote about connections they made between themselves and the scenarios in the book! Tomorrow, we will begin planning a story based on an image.

In social studies, students began to create a graphic organizer for the different regions of Alberta and the Indigenous people that live in those regions. We will continue to work on this later in the week!

REMINDER: Please have your student bring a WATERBOTTLE to school:)  As the weather gets warmer, there has been an increase in the amount of students needing to leave the classroom for water which causes a significant impact to the learning occurring!
