May 4th, 2023

We have made it through another week! Students only have 36 more days of school left in grade 3/4! We are in the home stretch for summer!

REMINDER: Tomorrow (Friday May 5th) is a non-instructional day for students! NO SCHOOL!

Today, we had a slow start our morning today with some time to work on our art project from last week! Our paintings of cherry blossom trees turned our beautiful and have added so much colour to our classroom walls!

In math today, we worked on some division word problems together as a class that helped the students practice with the two different types of division word problems.

For snack today, we went outside for a picnic in the sun to take advantage of the wonderful weather! We also played some team building games as well!

In science, we did two activities related to wheel and axles. We also did another observation of our tomato plants that we planted 20 days ago! They are looking great and are about 12cm tall!
