Students came back refreshed and ready this morning after the long weekend! It was wonderful to hear about all the amazing adventures and fun activities they did over the past 3 days during our sharing circle time this morning!

In math, we learned about how to convert 12 hour time into 24 hour time and learned about a few reasons why people might prefer to use 24 hour time. Students learned to read a 12 hour clock using the 24 hour time method. On Thursday, all students will have a quiz on all the time concepts we have touched on in class!

In language arts, students were given a reading comprehension assessment. Following the reading of a short story, students demonstrated their knowledge of the story they read by answering multiple choice and written response questions.

In social studies, students were given 1 hour to work on their first nations research project that will prepare them for their dioramas in the coming weeks.
