Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend celebrating Mother's Day and hopefully got to spend a little extra time with your family! There are only 7 more weeks of school until summer break begins!
Today in math, we continued to work on elapsed time (the time from the start of an activity to the end of an activity) using our paper clocks. Grade 3's were tasked with finishing up their division work books. These green books may come home for homework this week as these pages should now be finished. Many of the grade 3 students have some catch up work to do on these activities. PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR CHILD in finishing this booklet and returning it back to school by FRIDAY!
Grade 4 students today began their double digit multiplication learning. Students were shown two different strategies they can use to solve these types of problems so they can choose which one they prefer!
In social studies, we continued on with our work looking at the different regions and the people that live in each region. Students are using a graphic organizer to record their information.
Woodlands school had Lifetouch Photography in today to capture a whole school photo of the students. If you would like to order a copy of this photo, please see the BRIGHT YELLOW FORM that came home with students today.
REMINDER: Students should be coming to school with a waterbottle so that we can prevent the children from leaving the room during learning time to access the fountain.
