March 1st 2023

Wow!! First day of March! We have 4 months left in the school year!

We took some time today to make remaining corrections to our math tests. We continued to learn about fractions. Students made booklets with reminders about key vocabulary and parts of a fraction.

We listened to a story called "The Girl Who Never Made Mistakes". We discussed the way the character may have felt when she was pressured to never make mistakes. When she finally made a mistake, she felt at ease. Students wrote a paragraph about a time where they were nervous to try something because they might fail, the steps they took to try something new, and how they felt in the end.

In social studies, we continued conversations from quite a while ago about natural resources. I was impressed with all that students could remember!

We did our spelling tests and learned our new word patterns. Tests will come home tomorrow for you to sign.

Have a great evening!
