Please remember to rinse and hang your child's swimsuit to dry this evening so they can put it on under their clothes tomorrow morning before school. Please remember to send any undergarments in a separate bag with a towel, clearly marked with your child's name. Students had a snack before swimming today and were still very hungry when they returned to the school. Please send an additional nutritious snack to school with your child this week.
We started off our day with some science today. We first discussed what happens to light when it reflects off of a concave or convex mirror. You can test this at home with a spoon! We also began discussing refraction, which is the bending of light. We put a pencil in a cup of water and observed what happened. We will discuss the reason for this tomorrow.
We have an altered Souperstars schedule this week due to swimming, so Miss Lucy was in our classroom today from 1:00-2:00. Today's topic was Grocery Shopping. We will do our writing for this tomorrow.
We then went to music, and continued working on our renewable resources work until the end of the day.
