We had a blast learning about shadows this morning. We learned that shadows are cast when an object blocks light. Both opaque and translucent objects can cast a shadow, but opaque objects have a clearer, darker appearance. We also learned that as an object moves closer to a light source, the shadow gets larger and blurrier. See some photos below!
In math, we continued practicing our addition. We are hoping to start working on subtraction next week. We made lots of progress on our Scratch projects today. Students went back to add more detail and turn their work into 4 star work with guidance.
We learned about Haiku poems and syllables in language arts.
Have a great evening!
