Welcome back to the blog! I was away last week so there were no learning updates from me - but it seems like there was some very exciting learning happening while I was gone!
Today for science we created tinfoil figures. One of our parent volunteers helped us by calling students out into the library to trace the shadow that a flashlight made. We will be discussing the placement of these shadows in the coming days. Take a look at some photos below.
In math, grade 4s learned a new game called Target number. All students worked towards finishing the addition portion of their math booklets and could play the game when they were done.
In language arts we began learning about metaphors and how they are similar to/different from similes.
