There is lots of information to update today!
- some students brought home math homework, please ensure it gets done this evening
- many swimming forms have come back already - thank you! If you marked off that you would like to volunteer for this, I sent home a volunteer form to be filled out.
- students brought home their spelling today. Please review it, sign the test from this week, and return it for tomorrow.
Today was a bit of a hectic day coming back from the long weekend, a crazy snow storm and indoor recesses. We anticipate indoor recess and extreme cold for the remainder of the week, so please ensure students are coming with all proper outdoor gear for entry and dismissal. If the temperature gets warmer than -20, we will be headed outside.
In math, we learned how to solve word problems. The trickiest part so far was figuring out if the question wanted us to add or subtract. We will continue to practice this throughout this week. I am hoping we will be able to write our addition and subtraction test on Monday.
In science, we learned how we see reflections. Ask your child about this.
