We started out our day today by learning our doubles plus one facts. We know that if we know our doubles facts, we also know our near doubles facts!!
In poetry, we created good copies of our concrete poems. See examples below.
In science, we learned about sun safety. We know that we should not look directly at the sun, and the only way we can is if we have welder's glass shade # 14. Sunglasses help our eyes from getting burned in general, but do not help with looking at the sun.
In math, we continued practicing estimating differences with subtracting.
