Happy Friday!
Today we did a social studies mapping activity where we wrote directions to guide our partner through a map to find the treasure. We then read our instructions to our partners and looked to see if they made it to the treasure.
After recess, we met up with our buddies to create a wreath for the Remembrance Day assembly coming up next week, being performed by the grade 5s and 6s. Families are welcome to attend. We will post a photo of the wreath next week. See the photos below of our work in progress.
Students brought their social studies duotangs home today with a study guide inside. We will be having our mapping test on Wednesday so students have been asked to review the information in their duotangs.
Poppies will be handed out at school on Remembrance Day. Donations are encouraged if you plan to have your child utilize the school poppies.
