Please see the science activity that came home on Monday. Students' job is to look around the house with your assistance for any hazardous waste, and record what they find on the recording sheet provided. Please have your child bring it back by Thursday, December 1st 2022.
Friday is Class Colour day!! We voted today and our students chose blue!! Please have your child wear something blue (or all blue if you're feeling ambitious!) on Friday.
In language arts, we spent some time coming up with adjectives that we would like to use in our Gingerbread House for Sale writing. Tomorrow we will beginning to work on our rough copies.
In social studies, we watched a video explaining 30 different interesting and odd facts about Alberta. Ask your child what they learned about places in Alberta, and some specifically for Calgary and Edmonton. Students were also asked to read an information sheet about Alberta in pairs, highlight the important information, and answer the questions on the back.
In math, we surveyed our classmates about a question of our choice, as long as it started with "how many". We surveyed our classmates and put our data into a frequency table. We will create our line plot tomorrow.
