Please see the science activity in your child's backpack. Their job is to look around the house with your assistance for any hazardous waste, and record what they find on the recording sheet provided. Please have your child bring it back by Thursday, December 1st 2022.
Friday is Class Colour day!! We voted today and our students chose blue!! Please have your child wear something blue (or all blue if you're feeling ambitious!) on Friday.
Today we had both recesses indoors as the temperature was too cold to go outside. That being said, please ensure your child brings the appropriate outdoor gear in case the temperature rises enough throughout these cold days.
In language arts, we started looking at and describing Gingerbread houses for our upcoming Gingerbread House for Sale project. We discussed nouns and adjectives related to the houses we saw.
In math, we began learning about line plots. Students seemed to have a good grasp of it so far. See below for an example.
