Parent teacher conferences are coming up this Thursday evening and Friday morning. Please go onto your MyCBE Powerschool account to book yourself in for a conference. They are taking place virtually this time around due to an increase in student and staff illness within our building.

Today was our last day of in-line skating. Students should have come home with all gear that they brought to school.

We started out our day by completing two more "separate the grocery list" examples. Students did a wonderful job of breaking a long sentence apart and giving each detail its' own complete sentence.

In science, we discussed a couple more ways that waste is dealt with and processed. We will continue to work on this.

In social studies, students looked through a few pages of a textbook to find key pieces of information about the different regions within Alberta. We discussed how sometimes you have to "infer" information from a sentence. For example, the book might not say "the parkland region of Alberta has ____ natural vegetation". You may need to dig for the answers!

We continue to work on pictographs in math and are wrapping up tomorrow to start learning about a new type of graph.

Have a great evening!
