Picture Day is coming (TOMORROW) Wednesday, Oct 5. Individual photos will be taken this day in the morning. After Picture Day, you can order pictures on mylifetouch.ca using your Portrait ID and Access Code found on your Picture Day order form which will be sent home in the picture proof package. No cash or cheques will be accepted at the school. Not happy with your original photos? Photo re-take day will be on Nov 8 in the morning.
Today in writing we finished "The Story of my Name" good copies. When those were complete, students had the option to complete a prompt based on "write a silly story where a scarecrow and a crow become best friends".
Students then moved onto math, where they continued practicing writing numbers in word form. We also practiced drawing numbers to the thousands place using base ten blocks. Students learned two ways to draw a cube - ask them to show you!
In science, we took a collection of descriptive words for the different types of seeds and discussed how seeds travel, as well as why they are able to travel in the manner that they do.
