Happy Halloween!!!!
We had a very fun day of learning today with Halloween themed activities while still doing some really important learning. Our bell work today was "describe your PERFECT Halloween". Students wrote on this topic for about 20 minutes.
In gym, we played a variety of Halloween themed tag games including Zombie tag, Witch and Wizard tag, and Graveyard.
We did a math rounding activity where, based on the rounded answer, students coloured boxes to reveal Halloween pictures.
After lunch, we quickly changed into our costumes and met with our buddies for a craft. We made jack-o-lanterns. They came home in backpacks today.
When we came back, we drew our Haunted Houses for our Haunted House for Sale project. We will finish colouring them tomorrow.
At the end of the day, we had a class celebration where students could watch a movie or have some free time.
Please limit Halloween candy sent to school to one small treat per day. Lunches are meant to provide energy, to sustain focus and attention throughout the day.
