We had a great half day of school today!
We started out the day with gym, where we played a new tag game with Ms. Krahn's class.
Students filled out a "What I Wish My Teacher Knew About Me" page. I learned a lot about students' interests and their favourite things!
After recess, we combined the three classes and did an activity called "Saving Fred". Students heard a story about a worm named Fred whose boat flipped upside down and he needed help getting to his life preserver! Students could only use 4 paper clips and were not allowed to touch any materials with their hands! Ask your child about this activity. It was a blast!
Parent council is holding an Ice Cream Social Fundraising event on September 8th from 5-7pm. This is not a free event. Ice cream, juice boxes and other snacks are being sold for $1 each.
Parent Council is also holding a bottle drive fundraiser on September 10th. Look for the recycling container if you'd like to drop yours off!
