We are gearing up for our assembly tomorrow and cannot wait to show you our Terry Fox learning!
Today we practiced with the other classes in the gym again. We came back to class, ate our snacks and went outside for recess.
In health, we talked about what happens to our bodies when we get angry, frustrated, or in the red zone. In social studies, we learned about the parts of a map, including the title, the compass rose, symbols, and a key or legend.
In math, we did some extra practice on expanded form.
We are finishing our All About Me projects by adding a face. We are hoping to have them ready for parent teacher conferences tomorrow.
Students have brought home their first homework of the year. Children should be asking you questions about their names, and writing down the information that you provide. This is for a writing project next week, so please give as much detail as possible! Please try to have them back as soon as possible, but by Monday at the latest.
Our grade 3/4 Terry Fox assembly will be held on September 22nd 2022. Family is welcome to join! Scripts were sent home last week for students who have lines in the assembly - please have your child practice this evening. We are doing Toonies for Terry again this year. Online donations can be made at:
