September 19th 2022

We had an extremely busy day in grade 3/4! Lots to do in a short amount of time!

We started out with an assembly practice in the gym. At 9:30am, we had a moment of silence for the Queen Elizabeth II as a whole school. After recess, we watched 2 videos about Queen Elizabeth II and learned some interesting information about her. Ask your child what they thought the most interesting part was.

We worked on our All About Me project and are getting fairly close to completing it. We will just need to create a head for them when we are finished the body!

We went to the library for a book exchange for the first time this year. Books will be due back to the library each Monday. Please be sure to keep track of them if they come home.

We learned about expanded form in math. See below.

Our grade 3/4 Terry Fox assembly will be held on September 22nd 2022. Family is welcome to join! Scripts were sent home last week for students who have lines in the assembly - please have your child practice over the next few evenings.  We are doing Toonies for Terry again this year. Online donations can be made at:

Alternatively, your child can bring donations to the school for collection.

Our first fun lunch is on September 29th 2022 (Subway). To register your child, go to www.healthyhunger.ca.

Please remember to book your parent teacher conference for Thursday evening and Friday in the morning. The conference site is currently down system-wide. Please do not contact the office as they also have no access. We hope that the site is back up and running in time, and if not, we will reach out with an alternative plan. Thank you.

Orange Shirt Day is Thursday, September 29th.
